UK-headed Andusia Holdings Ltd (Andusia), the country's largest independent exporter of refuse-derived fuels (RDF) has announced that it has signed a new supply contract for RDF with its first ever customer, EBS-Concept GmbH. The 12-month contract will see 10,000 tonnes of RDF delivered to EBS-Concept’s site in Gluckstadt, Germany.

The 12-month contract will see 10,000 tonnes of RDF delivered to EBS-Concept’s site in Gluckstadt, Germany.

EBS-Concept, a joint venture by Umweltdienste Bohn GmbH and Steinbeis Holding Gmbh, is a member company of B+T Group.

The arrangement is designed to complement existing operations at the site, which include a paper mill. Waste from the mill is sorted by EBS for RDF production and is utilized directly on-site by Steinbeis Energie GmbH.

Andusia first partnered with EBS-Concept for the supply of RDF back in 2012, shortly after being established, and has maintained a solid customer relationship with the German waste firm throughout the years.

EBS-Concept represented our first ever export contract for RDF and it’s great to be joining forces with them again. We thrive on repeat business, but you could say this particular deal is that extra bit special as EBS have been there from the start, said Mark Terrell, Director of Andusia.
