Bioendev, a Swedish torrefaction technology development company based in Umeå, has announced that it has been approved a grant from the Swedish Energy Agency to test and evaluate the use of construction- & demolition (C&D) waste as feedstock. An estimated 12 million m3 construction waste is produced every year in Sweden, and a significant part of this is woody-based materials.
