Malmberg Water AB has announced that it will supply a biogas upgrading plant including a biomethane filling station to a biogas plant in Verdal, Norway.
Sweden-headed wastewater treatment and biogas technology providers MalmbergGruppen AB has announced that its subsidiary Malmberg Water AB has been awarded a contract to supply a biogas upgrading facility including a biomethane filling station to a biogas plant in Verdal, Norway.
The client is Ecogas, a subsidiary of Ecopro, a multi-municipality owned biogas company set up to treat around 40 000 tonnes per annum of source-sorted food waste and sludge. The digestate is used as a biofertiliser for agriculture.
The upgrading plant will have the capacity to upgrade 1000 Nm3/h of biogas to biomethane and is scheduled to be commissioned by the end of the year. According to a statement, the order represents the fifth upgrading installation in Norway. The value of the order has not been disclosed.
