One month to USIPA 2025

One month to USIPA 2025
With just a month to go, USIPA 2025 is set to, once again, become the hub of the global industrial wood pellet industry.

From November 9–11, 2025, Miami Beach, Florida (FL), will once again become the hub of the global industrial wood pellet industry as more than 300 leaders, innovators, producers, and policymakers gather at the Loews Miami Beach Hotel for the USIPA Annual Conference.

Now in its 13th year, the annual US Industrial Pellet Association (USIPA) conference has firmly established itself as the premier event on the global biomass calendar, offering unrivaled opportunities for knowledge exchange, networking, and industry advancement.

Timely theme for a transforming sector

According to the organizers, the theme of USIPA 2025, “Accelerating Sustainable Innovation“, reflects both the “industry’s achievements to date and how it can advance the next wave of opportunities.”

The Loews Hotel in sunny Miami Beach, Florida, provides the perfect setting to learn from,
connect with, and enjoy the company of one of the best aspects of the sustainable woody biomass industry.

As global decarbonization efforts intensify, woody biomass continues to play a central role in the energy transition, not only as a renewable alternative for traditional power and heat but also as a building block for emerging low-carbon pathways such as biocarbon for hard-to-abate sectors.

By convening thought leaders from industry, government, and academia, the program will spotlight the policies, market dynamics, and technological innovations shaping the sector’s future.

Agenda highlights

This year’s agenda underscores the diversity of issues facing the sector and the breadth of expertise represented at the conference. Highlights include:

  • Biocarbon and Biomass in 2025 – assessing the opportunities and challenges of scaling new solutions for industrial decarbonization.
  • State Perspectives on the Future of the Wood Pellet Industry – featuring insights from leading pellet-producing regions on forestry trends and policy directions.
  • Executive Insights on Biomass Sustainability – a high-level dialogue among industry leaders on sustainability standards, reporting frameworks, and stakeholder expectations.

In addition, policy updates from key global markets and in-depth sessions on trade, logistics, and innovation will provide delegates with the most current intelligence to inform strategic decisions.

Opening session at USIPA 2024.

Complementing the main program, more than 30 exhibiting companies will showcase technologies and services that drive efficiency, transparency, and sustainability across the biomass supply chain.

From supply chain traceability platforms to engineering solutions that improve plant performance, the exhibit hall represents the sector’s forward momentum in tangible form.

Recognizing that collaboration drives progress, networking remains at the core of this annual event, and USIPA 2025 offers multiple structured and informal opportunities to connect.

From daily networking breaks and evening gatherings on the hotel’s oceanfront terraces, guests will enjoy tropical cocktails and local fare in a relaxed setting, serving as a perfect backdrop to reconnect with colleagues and spark new partnerships.

Registration for USIPA 2025 is open.

With registration now open and the hotel cutoff approaching in mid-October, delegates are encouraged to secure their place early.

This is an opportunity for participants to not only gain access to the most relevant market insights and policy developments but also contribute to the collective effort of advancing sustainable bioenergy solutions.

As the biomass industry continues to evolve, the USIPA Annual Conference remains its most important forum for global exchange, and USIPA 2025 will provide both the platform and the momentum to advance the solutions that the energy transition and the world urgently require.
