Saxlund subsidiaries win SEK 20 million in equipment supply contracts

Sweden-headed bulk solid handling and bioenergy combustion specialist Saxlund Group AB has announced that its UK and German subsidiaries have been awarded material handling equipment supply contracts worth around SEK 20 million (≈ EUR 1.95 million).

On May 30, Saxlund Group’s UK subsidiary, Saxlund International Ltd has been awarded a material handling equipment contract worth around SEK 6 million (≈ EUR 584 000) by wood-based panel producer Norbord Ltd.

Once again, a company in the board industry selects Saxlund’s robust and reliable material handling technology. Norbord is a repeat important customer to us in the UK. We will supply silage equipment to their board factory in Wales. All engineering takes place at our English office in Winchester. Deliveries are scheduled to take place this autumn, said Stefan Wallerman, CEO Saxlund Group AB.

On May 23, its German subsidiary Saxlund International GmbH signed three different material handling equipment contracts with Andritz BV, Amandus Kahl GmbH and Intec GmbH respectively worth approximately SEK 14 million (≈ EUR 1.36 million) in total.

All deliveries are classic Saxlunds deliveries of material handling equipment. Customers have once again chosen Saxlund’s quality, to ensure safe operation. We will supply bar feed flooring, chain conveyors and screws. All engineering takes place at our German office in Soltau. Deliveries are scheduled to take place this autumn, said Wallerman.
