HAM and NUPPEC open new LNG service station in Spain

Spain-headed natural gas refueling technology developer, gas distributor and service provider HAM Group has announced that it has opened a new liquefied natural gas (LNG) truck service station in the Valencian Community in collaboration with NUPPEC Logística SL.

The new LNG service station is located on the Villarreal-Onda highway in Castellón next to the CV-20, an important road axis formed by Villarreal, Onda, and Alcora. It is less than a kilometer from the CV-10, also known as the Autovía de la Plana, regional road that runs from south to north the province of Castellón and very close the AP-7, axis that connects the entire Mediterranean coast from the border with France (La Jonquera) to Algeciras, passing through strategic points for transport routes such as Girona, Barcelona, ​​Tarragona, Castellón, Valencia.

It has been opened by HAM in collaboration with NUPPEC Logística SL, an important logistics company currently structured in three main lines of business: fruit transport, transport of clays to bulk and transport of ceramic tiles. The company’s commitment to using a lower carbon fuel has led to the opening of this gas station, which with a double LNG pump allows LNG refueling to two vehicles at a time.

For HAM Group, the opening of the HAM-NUPPEC Villarreal-Onda service station, brings to 37 service stations, both fixed and mobile, throughout the Spanish mainland and at important points of Europe.
