Stallkamp sets biogas sights on India
With 10 GW by 2022 from biopower, primarily biogas and biomass gasification, India has set strong targets for renewable power sources. Aiming to take advantage of the high potential in India, Germany-based stainless-steel fabricator, and specialist supplier of pumps and mixers to agriculture, biogas, and wastewater treatment sectors Erich Stallkamp ESTA GmbH says that it has found a competent partner in Pune, Maharashtra.
Partnering with a local Pune company run by Aniruddha Joshi, well experienced in the field of mixers and pumps is no coincidence. Not only does it fit well with Stallkamp’s product portfolio, but Pune is also a strategic location.
According to the “Assessment of the status quo of the implementation and potentials of Anaerobic Digestion in India” report by DBFZ Deutsches Biomasseforschungszentrum gemeinnützige GmbH, the state-specific targets in India, show that Uttar Pradesh in northern India and Maharashtra in western India will take over a leading role in biopower with 3.49 GW and 2.46 GW installed capacity from biogas and biomass gasification respectively by 2022.
We look forward to realize projects with Aniruddha Joshi and his team in India – whether there are biogas plants, wastewater projects or agricultural equipment, remarked Benjamin Budde, Head of Sales and Stefan Wichelmann, Business Development Manager at Erich Stallkamp ESTA.
Aniruddha Joshi has more than 17 years of experience in the field of wastewater in India. With an in-house service station for maintenance and repair works, the company offers additional services to the on-site service.
