Weltec Biopower GmbH landed two biogas industry awards at the recently concluded UK AD & Biogas and World Biogas Expo in Birmingham.
Germany-based biogas technology provider Weltec Biopower GmbH received an AD & Biogas Industry Award in two categories from the Anaerobic Digestion and Bioresources Association (ADBA), held July 5 at a Gala Dinner and Awards Ceremony during the recently concluded UK AD & Biogas and World Biogas Expo in Birmingham, UK.
An independent expert jury nominated the company in the category “Best International Agricultural Project” in recognition of its 800 kW plant in Colombia whereas the award for “Best International Commercial Plant” was for its 1 MW plant in Melbourne, Australia.
Both projects had their own special challenges and were already very demanding in planning. Therefore, we are delighted that both plants not only work successfully but have now also been awarded these prestigious awards. The awards encourage our entire team to continue to develop smart and flexible solutions for our customers, said Kevin Monson, Sales Manager, Weltec Biopower.
