Wentech Solutions Inc., a Canadian-based company doing business as Anessa Biogas Software (Anessa), has announced a long-term strategic partnership with CVE Biogaz, a subsidiary of France-headed CVE Group, aimed at transforming the way biogas projects are designed, optimized, and operated.
A subsidiary of the CVE Group, a French independent producer of renewable energies, a company with a mission and “B Corp” certification, a prestigious international CSR label, CVE Biogaz is the only independent player operating in the circular economy, from biowaste collection to biomethane production and the return of organic matter to the soil.
The company is a leading producer of high-quality biomethane and certified biogenic carbon dioxide (bioCO2), contributing to the energy transition by providing reliable, low-carbon alternatives for industry, transport, and communities.
Deploy advanced modeling and analytics
Through this collaboration, Anessa’s advanced modeling and analytics platform will be deployed across all CVE Biogaz sites to support faster decision-making, operational efficiency, and more sustainable growth.
This partnership builds on a shared vision: enabling biogas developers and operators to scale projects with confidence by leveraging digital tools that provide clarity, accuracy, and actionable insights.
Early collaboration between the two teams has already demonstrated strong shared value and vision, setting the stage for the project.
We are thrilled about the opportunity to collaborate with the exceptional team at CVE Biogaz. Anessa is committed to driving innovation in the biogas industry by providing advanced digital solutions, equipped with AI-enabled optimization tools, specifically designed to enhance the efficiency and performance of biogas projects and plants, said Amir Akbari, CEO of Anessa.
Anessa delivers AI-powered digital twin technology that helps biogas and renewable natural gas (RNG) projects operate at peak efficiency and profitability.
Anessa supports utilities, developers, and operators from the earliest feasibility studies through long-term operations, enabling them to digitalize, simulate plant performance, test scenarios, and optimize in real time across the entire AD life cycle.
CVE Biogaz has a fleet of 16 methanization units, including 4 under construction, and nearly 20 projects under development. The CVE subsidiary employs 140 people.
Our solutions will be deployed across both existing and future biogas facilities developed, owned, and operated by CVE Biogaz, enabling real-time monitoring, predictive optimization, and data-driven decision-making. This collaboration represents a significant step forward in advancing operational excellence, maximizing energy production, and supporting sustainable growth across CVE’s portfolio of projects, said Amir Akbari.
