Fire during pellet shiploading at Port of Port Arthur

According to local media reports a fire broke out at the Port of Port Arthur, Texas during the shiploading of pellets from the German Pellets terminal.

The fire, which is to have occurred in the afternoon of February 27 is said to have started on a conveyer belt that was loading pellets from the German Pellets silo onto the Jobst Oldendorff vessel at the port. The fire was brought under control by late afternoon and no injuries at port or on the vessel were reported.
