According to GESS, it will represent Biogest in marketing and development of biogas plant projects in the coming months, identifying potential sites and clients in locations seeking energy source alternatives. The partnership between GESS and Biogest is described as “important” as industries such as power generation and farming look for renewable energy sources made valuable by recent tax incentives and state regulations.
The relationship between the two companies will be for at least the next three years covering North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, Florida, Kentucky, Tennessee, Alabama, Virginia, West Virginia, Mississippi, Missouri, Nebraska, Oklahoma, Kansas, Arkansas, Louisiana, and Texas. GESS will be the exclusive distributor for Biogest PowerRing and PowerCompact biogas plant products.
Biogest PowerRing biogas plants are completely automated and efficient with proven technology operating in hundreds of plants in the UK, France, Germany, Czech Republic, and Austria. The PowerCompact system designed by Biogest is a compact biogas plant combining the concrete tank and gas storage into one automated facility designed for swine farms, cattle farms including dairy farms, and poultry farms.
Biogest biogas engineering operations extend along the entire biogas value chain, from project development to planning, financing, turnkey construction and operation of biogas plants with an output of 100 kW to 3.5 MW.
