Logset changes Managing Director

Logset Oy has announced that it has "started the search" for a new Managing Director. According to a statement Tapio Ingervo, who up until now has been the Managing Director, is leaving the company. Chairman of the Board, Tapio Nikkanen will act as a temporary Managing Director at Logset alongside his own duties until a new Managing Director is appointed.

Finland-headed forest machinery manufacturer Logset Oy has announced that it has “started the search” for a new Managing Director. According to a statement Tapio Ingervo, who up until now has been the Managing Director, is leaving the company. Chairman of the Board, Tapio Nikkanen will act as a temporary Managing Director at Logset alongside his own duties until a new Managing Director is appointed.

The board of Logset considers that the company is in a situation where a “new type of leadership” is needed to secure growth and development for the company. Logset has approximately 70 employees with an annual turnover around EUR 30 million. Logset machines are exported to 25 countries and the export share is around 85 percent.
