Sweden-headed combustion and material handling equipment providers Saxlund Group AB has announced that its subsidiary, Saxlund International Holding AB, has signed an exclusive agreement with Latvian biomass combustion solutions provider Komforts Group to manage all service and aftermarket in the Scandinavian market of Komforts Group deliveries.

Komforts Group specializes in thermal energy projects in the 0.5-25 MW range where various types of woody biomass are used to produce hot water, steam or hot air. In Scandinavia, the company has supplied boilers, furnaces and/or ancillary components to some 30 installations such as district heating plants.
The agreement, which was signed on February 11, 2020, is expected to increase Saxlund’s sales for service and aftermarket by SEK 5 – 7 million (≈ EUR 476 000 – 667 000) on an annual basis. According to Saxlund, this agreement is a first step to expand the company’s presence in the market and get in touch with customers that Saxlund has not previously had.
At Saxlund we are very eager to start this collaboration together with Komforts. During the year, we will work with Komforts to increase the service and aftermarket of their products. For Komforts it is very important to increase its presence in Scandinavia and Saxlund is known for quality and fast deliveries, which is why Komforts has chosen us as a partner, said Stefan Wallerman, CEO of Saxlund Group AB.
