In Sweden, Solör Bioenergi Utility Solutions AB, a leading player in the operation and management of water and sanitation assets, and part of the Solör Bioenergi Group, has announced that it has acquired Trosabygdens Teknik AB (TROTAB), a water and sanitation company that primarily handles the operation and maintenance of water and sanitation facilities in the municipality of Trosa.

TROTAB is a local company in Trosa that primarily operates and maintains the municipality’s water and sanitation facilities.

The company also conducts land contracts and is responsible for the operation of the municipality’s commercial waste reception from companies.

The acquisition is in line with Utility Solutions’ goal to strengthen its position in municipal water and sanitation operations in Sweden.

We at Utility Solutions have a clear growth strategy, in line with the entire Solör Bioenergi Group. Our ambition is to be a long-term partner for municipalities that choose to transfer the operation of their water and sanitation operations to external actors. It is therefore very pleasing that we have been able to complete this deal with TROTAB, said Tobias Klahr, CEO of Solör Bioenergi Utility Solutions.

Solör Bioenergi Utility Solutions acquires 100 percent of the shares in TROTAB, which will become a subsidiary of Solör Bioenergi Utility Solutions.

The decision to acquire it was made earlier this spring, and the takeover of operations has just been concluded.

We are proud of what we have built up in TROTAB and look forward to the next chapter together with Solör Bioenergi Utility Solutions AB. Their long experience and expertise in the operation and maintenance of water and sanitation infrastructure give us the strength to grow further and continue to develop, said Niklas Haglund, CEO of TROTAB.

Utility Solutions is certified to ISO 55001, the standard for asset management, and is one of only a few companies in Sweden that are.

Based on the methodology and the certification processes, it is possible to reduce acute maintenance efforts and instead enable long-term investments in, for example, pipeline networks.

Our ambition with the acquisition is to grow and strengthen our position in municipal water and sanitation operations. We will implement our expertise in TROTAB and further develop this fine company. The employees who work in the water and sanitation operations, as well as the CEO Niklas, remain in the business, and we are happy to have welcomed them, concluded Tobias Klahr.
