Svebio to hold virtual Nordic Pellets Conference 2021

On account of the current coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, the Swedish Bioenergy Association (Svebio) has announced that it will organize the Nordic Pellets Conference 2021 as a virtual online-only event that will take place on January 27, 2021.

The next edition will be held as a condensed virtual event on January 27, 2021, at 13.00 CET.

The condensed format of the annual Nordic Pellets Conference will consist of two sessions on January 27, 2021, that begins at 13.00 CET. High-level presenters will discuss issues such as the opportunities and shortcomings of the policy news in Germany and Poland, as well as market initiatives as sustainability certification, carbon pools, and digital trading of pellets.

Each session closes with an interactive panel discussion along with Q&A from online participants.

Despite COVID-19, there is still a need to meet, albeit virtually, and discuss pertinent issues such as policy and markets that could have far-reaching impacts on the wood pellet industry here in northern Europe, commented Fredrik Zetterlund, Conference Manager at Svebio.
