The Port of Miramar currently has more than 130 000 m³ of storage capacity installed.

Vibra already has operations in the port. Once the lease has entered into a contract, it will be valid for 20 years and can be successively renewed, up to the limit of 70 years.

This is an important investment for Vibra. The Port of Miramar is a strategic terminal, as it handles a large part of the fuel consumed in the state of Pará, in addition to the liquid bulk that is distributed in the regions served by the port, said Marcelo Fernandes Bragança, VP Operations, Logistics, and Sourcing at Vibra.

The operations covered by the lease are terminal-related and involve moving and storage of combustible liquid bulk.

In all, there will be seven storage tanks for the storage of gasoline, anhydrous and hydrated ethanol, fuel oil, diesel, biodiesel, and jet fuel.

With the storage capacity expansion, Vibra’s Port of Miramar Terminal will reinforce the supply of derivatives and biofuels in the state of Pará, guaranteeing autonomy in the fuel supply, in addition to bringing benefits to Pará,

This includes creating  120 direct jobs rising to 250 during the height of the construction works, in addition to encouraging the economy and surrounding businesses.

With the expansion of the facilities, Vibra continues with its mission to ensure the supply of the region in addition to serving the entire demand of the ‘Arco Logístico Norte’ logistics chain ended Marcelo Fernandes Bragança.
