Egyptian environmental services and advisory solutions providers EnviroTaqa L.L.C. has recently announced that it has signed an exclusive Partnership and Alliance (P&A) contract with Switzerland-headed dry-fermentation biogas technology providers Renergon International AG (Renergon) to become the only Renergon licensed company in Egypt.
Specialized in providing advanced integrated technological environmental solutions to the private and public sector institutions in Egypt, the Partnership enables EnviroTaqa to provide “state-of-the-art, turnkey technology solutions” for converting organic waste into renewable energy as well as organic fertilizers through Renergon’s proprietary dry fermentation technology.
According to a statement, the partnership sets the tone of cooperation between the two organizations and contains several collaborations that include creating and developing biogas plants with various capacity starting from 50 kW up to 5 MW, using dry fermentation technology.
The Renergon – EnviroTaqa Partnership brings together industry leaders with proven technologies who recognize the need for an integrated solution approach to advancing the deployment of biogas plants in Egypt, said Karl-Heinz Restle, CEO and Founder of Renergon.
EnviroTaqa is planning to build and operate several biogas power plants in Egypt in various capacity ranges that will cumulatively reach 10 MW electrical capacity by 2025 and 50 MWe by 2030.
