GTech introduces new levels of oil recovery with Echo-7
The newly released Echo-7 model – a scaled-up machine – is designed to introduce a new level of output and efficiency in oil recovery (image courtesy GTech).

In the United States (US), GTech, a Texas-based company that supplies a broad range of industries globally, is meeting the growing international demand for high-value resource recovery and processing, key to the success of the ethanol sector, with the latest addition to its industry-leading Echo range of precision 3-phase decanters.

According to GTech President Kevin Bell, the Echo-7 has been developed for high volume industries, such as the ethanol sector, where “exceptional quality, purity, and volume in extracting valuable oils and other resources can make a significant difference to the bottom line.”

The Echo-7 is the ideal tool for a broad range of modern industries – from edible oils and by-products to industrial and environmental waste management. It combines extremely accurate separation with highly efficient production, ensuring businesses can maximize their returns when processing and recovering valuable resources and extracting a range of co-products, while diverting waste streams and contributing to the circular economy, Kevin Bell said.

Accurate high-volume 3-phase separation

The Echo-7’s high-volume processing – up to 155 (US) gallons (≈ 586 litres) per minute for corn oil – is underpinned by an “exceptional level of accuracy” in the 3-phase separation process.

This enables solids, water, and oil to be precisely separated, producing clean waste, clear water, and high-quality oils in one seamless process.

The Echo-7 also features GTech’s precise servo-driven, variable light phase extraction system, greatly improving production efficiency by removing the need for time-consuming manual setting and additional processing.

Changes to the machine’s extraction settings can be made in real time, with the push of a button, without interrupting processing.

The addition of a hydraulic lid on the new Echo-7 also eliminates the need for a crane, greatly improving the safety of operations and minimizing downtime for maintenance.

A range of control panel options is also available, including fully variable NEMA 4X – C1D1, as well as wifi and cellular communication.

From our tailored skids, which enable businesses to easily integrate the Echo range into their production, in any environment, to the latest automation technology, designed to provide seamless and precise control, GTech is constantly focusing on meeting the exacting standards of the world’s most demanding industries, said Kevin Bell.
