Burton Mill Solutions, a leading North American manufacturer and supplier of industrial saw blades, machine knives, filing room equipment, and sharpening services to the lumber, pulp, and wood biomass industries, has announced the acquisition of Georgia-based East Coast Die Inc.’s business as a specialized provider of fuel and feed die refurbishment and roll shell rebuilding services for the pellet industry.

East Coast Die brings more than 30 years of experience supporting pellet producers across the East Coast and Midwest, with additional reach into Canada and the ability to serve customers wherever freight networks operate.

This acquisition, the value of which has not been disclosed, expands Burton’s refurbishment capacity and broadens its overall product offering.

Along with strengthening its die and roll shell service capabilities, Burton will expand its offerings to include new fuel and feed dies, further positioning the company as a comprehensive, one-stop solution for pellet producers.

East Coast Die’s products and capabilities will be integrated into Burton’s existing network of reconditioning and service centers across North America, further strengthening its ability to deliver reliable, high-quality support to the fuel and feed pellet industry.

This will provide customers with greater technical expertise, enhanced operational support, and access to a wider range of products and services.

Customers will also benefit from Burton’s dedicated fleet of delivery trucks, enabling more reliable pickup and delivery and improved turnaround times.

We are excited to welcome East Coast Die to the Burton family. Their experience and specialized knowledge strengthen our ability to support customers with expanded capacity, deeper technical expertise, and a more complete set of solutions, said Eddie Collins, VP of Reconditioning and Sales, US South, at Burton Mill Solutions.

The East Coast Die team will remain in place to ensure continuity, with former owner Bobby Dumas continuing to be actively involved during the transition and supporting future growth, including the expansion of new die offerings.

I’m excited to partner with Burton Mill Solutions in this exciting next step for our business and our customers. With greater resources, expanded capacity, and the addition of new die offerings, there is a great opportunity for us to grow and deliver even more value, commented Bobby Dumas.
