Alfa Laval to supply process equipment for St1’s biorefinery in Sweden

In Sweden, Alfa Laval – a world leader in heat transfer, centrifugal separation, and fluid handling – has announced that it has been selected by energy company St1 to supply process equipment for St1's new biorefinery line at its refinery in Gothenburg.

In Sweden, Alfa Laval – a world leader in heat transfer, centrifugal separation, and fluid handling – has been selected by energy company St1 to supply process equipment for St1’s new biorefinery line at its refinery in Gothenburg.

The order includes various pieces of equipment for the new St1 biorefinery plant to be built in Gothenburg, Sweden. The equipment will remove various impurities from waste fats and oils, which later will be converted into renewable fuels. The value of the order is approximately SEK 60 million (≈ EUR 5.45 million) and the deliveries are scheduled for 2021.
