Andritz has announced that it has been selected to supply equipment to upgrade the brown stock washing process in the fiberline at the Altri Group’s Celbi mill in Portugal.
Austria-headed international technology group Andritz has announced that it has been selected to upgrade the brown stock washing process in the fiberline at the Altri Group’s Celbi mill in Portugal. Headquartered in Porto, Portugal, Altri is one of the leading producers of bleached eucalyptus pulp in Europe.
Start-up is scheduled for autumn 2017. The new Drum Displacer Washer (DD-Washer) and other fiberline equipment supplied by ANDRITZ will substantially improve the washing efficiency and increase the capacity of the hardwood fiberline.
According to a statement, this is a repeat order for Andritz at the Celbi mill with the pulp drying line and cooking process systems in 2014 and 2015 respectively the most recent deliveries by Andritz.
