Andusia Recovered Fuels Ltd, the UK’s largest independent exporter of refuse-derived fuels (RDF) has announced that it has renewed a contract to supply 28 000 tonnes per annum of RDF to an undisclosed combined heat and power (CHP) plant in north-western Germany.
According to a statement, Andusia is “delighted to have renewed and extended the contract with this well-respected CHP plant and look forward to consolidating their image as a reliable long-term partner for recovery plants, both in the UK and overseas”. The value of the contract, which extends to 2020, remains undisclosed.
Celebrating five years in business, Andusia has grown to become the UK’s largest independent exporter of RDF reaching over 800 000 tonnes. The company offers a “full and flexible” supply chain solution for collecting and delivering RDF from independent management-owned UK waste businesses to the energy from waste plants in Europe.
