Baseload Capital Sweden’s business concept is to finance sustainable baseload energy, including heat power of the type that Climeon markets.
Climeon’s goal is to become a world-leading product company within energy technology. By offering attractive financing solutions to our customers through Baseload Capital Sweden, we shorten the way to that goal, commented Thomas Öström, CEO at Climeon.
Together with the other owners; Blue, Gullspång Invest, and LMK, Climeon initiated Baseload Capital. Baseload Capital Sweden intends to further increase its financing capacity by issuing several types of securities, such as bonds and preference shares.
Launched in January 2018, Baseload Capital Sweden has already undertaken to provide financing for two of Climeon’s customers, Varmaorka in Iceland and GEK in Germany.
Both these companies will use the funding for heat power plants. Baseload Capital Sweden aims to offer both short- and long-term funding for sustainable baseload energy.
