The Swedish Bioenergy Association (Svebio) is organizing its 5th Advanced Biofuels Conference that will take place on September 17-19, 2019, in Stockholm. The event aims to provide insights on the latest on renewable transportation fuels, novel technologies and what is going on in biofuels policy and new production.

According to Svebio, Dr Mossberg is ideally qualified as she has more than fifteen years of experience in the field of sustainable transition and development of biorefineries, bioeconomy, and renewable transportation fuels. Most recently as Director of f3, the Swedish knowledge centre for renewable transport fuels.

At the Advanced Biofuels Conference, we meet the pioneers and the industry that is spearheading this very exciting development. If you work in the field of fossil-free transport and advanced biofuels I can recommend registering for the Advanced Biofuels Conference 2019. Not only will there be interesting presentations around the latest developments of advanced biofuels for road, maritime and air transport but there will also be a very interesting workshop co-hosted with ETIP Bioenergy on the theme of Policy, institutional framework and the role of the financial sector for deployment and upscaling of biorefineries for large scale biofuel production – what is needed to propel the development? Finally, there will also be study visits including a tour of the RISE Research Institutes of Sweden laboratories in Södertälje – some of our key research infrastructure with respect to biorefinery development, commented Dr Johanna Mossberg.
