In anticipation of increased for waste wood and biomass fuels, Eggersmann Group has expanded its product portfolio of high-performance shredders, screening machines and windsifters to treat process wood and biowaste for energy and recycling purposes.

Germany-based Eggersmann Gruppe GmbH & Co. KG, a company involved in civil construction, recycling, composting and biogas technologies has, in anticipation of increased demand for biomass and refuse-derived fuels (RDF), expanded its shredding and screening technology portfolio enabling the production of a contaminant free end product in a single operation while keeping machinery operational costs to a minimum.
According to the company, the Forus brand of compact dual-shaft slow-speed shredders with synchronized shredding or asynchronous shredding process provide a broad area of application fulfilling demands in throughput and machine flexibility at entry-level. The Teuton brand single-shaft shredders, on the other hand, provide higher throughput and used in diverse applications from pre-shredding to creating a clean end product.

Terra Select, a company specialised in screening and separation technology and that was acquired in January 2016 by Eggersmann Group, completes portfolio line-up with an array of windsifters, star-screening or trommel screening alternatives including a double trommel screen for one step screening processes.
