Germany-headed Eggersmann Group has revealed that it has acquired tank and container specialist Farmatic GmbH from the insolvency administrator on February 1. According to Eggersmann, all of the remaining 23 jobs at the Nortorf business location, in Schleswig-Holstein, as well as the Farmatic company name are being retained. The purchase price of the deal has not been disclosed.

Farmatic Anlagenbau GmbH is a specialist in upgrading and finishing of tanks and containers with industrial and municipal clients around the world. The company speciality is in the areas of wastewater treatment, thermal energy storage, biogas production and agriculture and ag-processing industries such as sugar and palm oil.
Founded in 1951, the Eggersmann Group operates as a network of companies operating internationally in the construction and recycling technology sectors including biogas.
