Hotab Biosystem AB, a subsidiary of Sweden-headed Saxlund Group AB (previously Opcon) has announced that it has signed a contract with Neova AB for the supply of two transportable heat plants to its facilities in Gimo and Åstorp in Sweden.

A major producer of peat and wood-based biomass fuels and operator of district heat plants in Sweden, Neova AB is the Swedish subsidiary of Finland-headed Vapo Oy, the world’s largest peat producer and a leading bioenergy operator in the Baltic Sea region.
It is a supply of complete energy plants to Neova’s facilities in Gimo and Åstorp. Delivery is scheduled in the spring 2018 and once again it is our popular transportable facilities that will be manufactured at our workshop in Kristianstad. These facilities are very similar to those we delivered to Almo Hardwood AB in Österbymo during the autumn. Neova is a very important customer to us and we are currently discussing more similar facilities, said Stefan Wallerman, CEO of Saxlund Group AB.
In addition to the two heat plants to Neova, Saxlund Group also revealed that it had recently received an order for two sludge storage silos from Veolia Water Technologies AB, the Swedish subsidiary of France-headed Veolia Water Technologies Group, for the municipal wastewater treatment (WWTP) facility in Laholm, Sweden.
The WWTP is currently undergoing renovation and scheduled to be completed by end of 2018. The same silo technology has been delivered to BIOFOS A/S WWTP in Lynette, Copenhagen, but these silos have less storage capacity.
The total contract value for these three orders combined, Neova and Veolia, is approximately SEK 18 million (≈ EUR 1.8 million).
