In Sweden, Hydri Solutions AB, formerly known as Nilsson Energy, has finalised the construction of its first hydrogen refuelling station in the Port of Gothenburg.

The station is strategically placed at the entrance at Gate 6 where more than 3,000 trucks pass every day and marks the start of an ambitious roll-out plan of a nationwide hydrogen refueling network.

The goal of Hydri is to drive the hydrogen market and break the status quo, partially by directly enabling the transition of hard-to-abate sectors and promoting the generation of green hydrogen as an off-taker.

The project is supported by the Swedish Energy Agency and has been executed by Hydri Solutions in close cooperation with the Port of Gothenburg.

Rapid refueling for cars and trucks

The station is equipped with a combined dispenser delivering both 700 and 350 bar, catering to all types of hydrogen-powered vehicles – from passenger cars to large trucks – the ability to refuel swiftly.

The station has a payment terminal accepting credit cards as well as Hydri’s own payment cards.

This station marks an important step in the continuous development of the new energy landscape. Our clear target to take a leading role in the initiative of making hydrogen available nationwide is well on the way and the station in Gothenburg is the first station of many to come, said Michel Thomas, Chairman of the Board in Hydri Solutions and CEO of Qarlbo Energy.
