KK and TBFCO will work together to develop practical applications for B100 across Qatar’s public and private sectors.

The partnership also aligns with the environmental development objectives of Qatar National Vision 2030 and Qatar’s Third National Development Strategy 2024–2030, supporting the country’s ambition to reduce greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions by 25 percent by 2030.

The introduction of B100 provides a practical pathway to support decarbonisation of diesel-dependent operations while contributing to Qatar’s wider objectives for sustainable development, energy diversification and environmental resilience.

At a time when geopolitical developments are reshaping global energy markets, energy diversification, security and resilience have become strategic priorities alongside decarbonisation.

Biofuels can play an important role in expanding the range of available energy solutions, strengthening regional supply chains and supporting the transition towards lower-carbon operations.

Exclusive agreement

Under the exclusive Qatar collaboration, Kingdom Konsult will lead market development, stakeholder engagement and commercial opportunity development for TBFCO and its B100 biodiesel, while TBFCO will provide the B100 supply, technical expertise, certifications, product documentation and deployment support.

We are proud to pioneer bringing B100 biofuel to Qatar through this strategic partnership with The Biofuel Company of Saudi Arabia. Biofuel and alternative energy today are not only about sustainability and reducing emissions; they are increasingly connected to energy security, geopolitical resilience and the need for diversified and reliable energy solutions. This partnership creates a strong bridge between Saudi biofuel expertise and the Qatar market, demonstrating how GCC cooperation can turn the energy transition into practical implementation, said Katina Aghayan, Chairwoman and Founder of Kingdom Konsult.

As part of the collaboration, Kingdom Konsult and TBFCO will pursue B100 biofuel opportunities throughout Qatar, including government and semi-government entities, transportation and logistics, industrial operations, infrastructure, education, construction, hospitality, sports facilities and major events.

These sectors form part of the strategic collaboration established between the parties.

We are delighted to partner with Kingdom Konsult to bring The Biofuel’s B100 to the Qatar market. This collaboration combines our biofuel production and technical capabilities with Kingdom Konsult’s market expertise and stakeholder engagement in Qatar. We believe B100 can provide organisations with a practical alternative fuel solution while supporting wider ambitions for decarbonisation, energy diversification and resilience, said Abdullah Al Otaibi, CEO of The Biofuel Company.

Explore biofuel projects and demonstrations

The partnership will also explore biofuel pilot projects, demonstrations and subsequent commercial-scale deployments, creating practical pathways for organisations seeking to reduce emissions and incorporate sustainable fuels into their operations.

By combining TBFCO’s biofuel capabilities with Kingdom Konsult’s Qatar market
expertise, the partnership reflects the growing importance of GCC-to-GCC cooperation in developing a more diversified, lower-carbon and resilient regional energy ecosystem.

The energy transition requires solutions that can move from ambition to real-world application. B100 biofuel provides an opportunity for organisations to reduce the carbon footprint of diesel-dependent operations while maintaining operational practicality. Together with Kingdom Konsult, we look forward to developing the Qatar market and demonstrating the commercial, operational and environmental value that biofuel can deliver, said Gary Hubbard, FCILT, SVP Commercial & Operations of The Biofuel Company.

For Kingdom Konsult, the agreement further reinforces its role in pioneering and bringing innovative green technologies, biofuel and alternative-energy solutions to Qatar, connecting technology, sustainability strategy and implementation to create measurable environmental and commercial impact.
