A new multi-tree accumulator is now available for a number of Komatsu harvesting heads, which according to Komatsu Forest offers greater efficiency, quieter operation, and improved reliability.

Sweden-headed Komatsu Forest, a wholly owned subsidiary of Japan-headed global heavy machinery and equipment major Komatsu Ltd, has launched a new multi-tree accumulator attachment for a number of Komatsu harvesting heads. According to Komatsu Forest, the new multi-tree accumulator offers greater efficiency, quieter operation, and improved reliability. It also offers the advantage of increased flexibility as the head can be used for more types of harvesting.

Available as an option for the Komatsu C93, the Komatsu C123, and the Komatsu C144 harvesting heads, the new multi-tree accumulator has a cast design and a protected valve, which increases durability, and the new damping plates make multi-tree accumulation quieter as well.
