Nel Hydrogen Inc., a US subsidiary of Norway-headed hydrogen technology developer Nel ASA (Nel), has announced that it has received a purchase order for the delivery of two additional H2Station units for fueling of heavy-duty fuel cell electric trucks in California from EQUILON Enterprises LLC (d/b/a/ Shell Oil Products US).

The purchase order has a total value exceeding US$7 million and is issued under the framework agreement between Nel and Shell Global Solutions International B.V announced in December 2018. The stations will be located in the Greater Los Angeles area and expand the fueling coverage for hydrogen-powered heavy-duty fuel cell electric trucks.

We are happy to support Shell with two additional H2Station fueling stations for heavy-duty trucks in California. We look forward to assisting with expansion of the hydrogen fueling coverage in the Greater Los Angeles area which can help a transition to renewable and zero emission trucking, said Jon André Løkke, CEO, Nel.
