Scandinavia's largest wood pellet producer Scandbio AB has announced that its CEO Peter Granborn has left the company. Effective April 26, 201,9 Scandbio's Chief Financial Officer, Daniel Andoff, has stepped in as interim CEO until a new CEO is appointed.
Founded in 2014 through a merger of Lantmännen Agroenergi and Neova to form Agroenergi Neova Pellets AB, the name was changed to Scandbio AB in 2016. The company produces and supplies solid processed wood fuels such as pellets, briquettes, and wood powder to industry, municipalities, and consumers.

Scandbio is a fantastic company and it has been a very exciting period in my career. Together with virtually all the functions, the management team has been strengthened and the company has every opportunity to grow in step with the prevailing and increasing demand that we see on bioenergy and related products. It feels like the right time for both me and Scandbio to move on, said Peter Granborn in a statement.
The statement, however, díd not include any details on where and what Granborn has moved on to nor details about his role as the current Chairman of the Swedish Pellets Association (Pelletsförbundet).
Peter Granborn leaves a strong and stable company with good prospects. On behalf of the Board, I would like to thank Peter for his valuable contribution to Scandbio’s development, said Hans Linnarsson, Chairman of Scandbio.
