The company offers a range of yeast and enzyme solutions that enhance performance based on proprietary technology.
- For starch conversion, its yeast is tailored to provide a consistently increased ethanol yield, while significantly reducing glycerol production.
- For fibre conversion, its enzyme formulation maximizes hydrolysis with an enhanced liquefaction capability. In addition, all available sugars can be converted by yeast at a high rate including glucose, xylose and arabinose.
- For biomass conversion, the company offers both high performing yeast and enzymes solutions for multiple feedstocks and have an active partnership with POET-DSM Advanced Biofuels and its Project Liberty cellulosic ethanol plant in Emmetsburg, Iowa for corn stover to ethanol production.
The yeast and enzymes are manufactured in the USA. In addition, the company offers a unique opportunity for on-site manufacturing of enzymes and the first of its kind facility is currently under construction at POET-DSM.
