Organizer’s release European Pellet Conference 2022 program

In Austria, OÖ Energiesparverband (OÖESV), the organizers of the annual World Sustainable Energy Days (WSED) event in Wels which includes the European Pellet Conference have released the program for the 2022 European Pellet Conference that will be held on April 6, 2022.

One of several in-real-life speakers at the 2021 European Pellet Conference (EPC) held as part of WSED 2021 was Enviva’s Thomas Meth. An Austrian national and co-founder of Enviva, arguably still the world’s largest wood pellet producer, Meth provided a (large) pellet business perspective on a green recovery with pellets (photo courtesy WSED).

Pellets – fuelling the energy transition!” is the focus of the 2022 European Pellet Conference in Wels, Austria – part of the World Sustainable Energy Days (WSED).

The European Commissions’s “Fit for 55” package aims to put the European Union (EU) on track towards climate neutrality. The conference aims to show how firing up pellet markets can boost the energy transition and how to position pellets as an important climate solution with over 40 leading international speakers presenting the latest trends in markets, policies, technologies, and innovations

Hybrid event

While nothing can replace the valuable experience of physically meeting and discussing with peers at an on-site event and gaining first-hand information on the latest product innovations on a tradeshow floor, this “special edition” of the annual conference will be held as a hybrid event.

This enables participants, unable to travel, to connect digitally from anywhere in the world.
