In the United States (US), Vision RNG LLC with the support of Vision Ridge Partners, a leading developer, owner, and operator of landfill gas (LFG) to renewable natural gas (RNG) facilities, has announced that it has signed a 20-year RNG agreement with L.P. Gill, Inc., a subsidiary of Waste Connections, Inc.

The L.P. Gill landfill project in Jackson, Nebraska (NE) will initially convert 1,200 cubic feet per minute of landfill gas (LFG) into 310,000 MMBtu of RNG annually, with production expected to grow over the contract lifetime.

We are excited to further expand our partnership with Waste Connections. The addition of L.P. Gill Landfill to our growing portfolio of RNG projects is a significant step forward. By capturing and converting methane into clean RNG, we are not only reducing greenhouse gas emissions but also beneficially repurposing the gas in a sustainable manner, said Bill Johnson, CEO of Vision RNG.

The L.P. Gill plant is expected to be operational in 2027, further expanding Vision RNG’s portfolio of renewable energy projects.
