Germany-headed biogas technology specialist Weltec Biopower GmbH has announced that it is extending its existing partnership with the French biogas general contractor AGRIPOWER France with the two companies jointly exploring new markets to bring their combined expertise and technologies to new regions.

The two companies can look back on almost 15 years of successful cooperation. During this period, the two biogas specialists have jointly completed more than 30 plant projects in France, including references such as Agrigaz Vire and SOBER 1 & 2 for the agro-industrial company BRETS.

This successful partnership has now been extended, and both companies will be represented with a joint stand at the upcoming Bio360 trade fair on February 11-12, 2026, in Nantes, France, to communicate this.

Fruitful cooperation and a clear division of roles

The cooperation between the two is characterised by reliable and practical collaboration.

AGRIPOWER France, with its integrated engineering office near Nantes, acts as a general contractor for the implementation of biogas projects and invests in the expansion of existing plants.

Weltec Biopower supplies tailor-made components and technical solutions made of stainless steel, a material synonymous with reliability, durability, and manufacturing precision.

Shared values and vision

The two companies are united by the strategic goal of promoting sustainable energy concepts and actively advancing the transformation of energy and resources. In addition to developing new projects, the focus is on optimising existing biogas plants, increasing their efficiency, and using proven and innovative technologies.

Four new projects are in the final planning stages for 2026. These plants are spread across France, reflecting the growing regional importance of this cooperation.

In addition, both companies are currently exploring new markets to bring their combined expertise and technologies to new regions.
