XCF Global accelerates SAF production as New Rise Renewables Reno ramps up
The New Rise Renewables Reno facility is designed and configured to produce 3,000 barrels per day of synthetic blending component (SBC) for blending to make sustainable aviation fuel (SAF). All fuel is made from Federal Renewable Fuels Standard (RFS) compliant triglyceride feedstocks such as corn oil, soybean oil, or other qualifying oils (photo courtesy New Rise Renewables).

In the United States (US), XCF Global Capital, Inc. (XCF Global), a key player in decarbonizing the aviation industry through sustainable aviation fuel (SAF), has announced the commencement of commercial production of neat SAF at New Rise Renewables, LLC in Reno, Nevada (NV).

In addition, New Rise Renewables Reno has entered into an irrevocable corporate purchase order (ICPO) for the sale of over 3 million (US) gallons (≈ 11.36 million litres) of neat SAF with an unaffiliated third-party buyer.

The first shipments of neat SAF are expected to begin in February 2025, with delivery anticipated to begin in early March 2025.

Reaching commercial production at New Rise is an exciting milestone, reflecting years of dedication, engineering excellence, and our commitment to innovation. We are proud to begin customer deliveries and provide high-quality SAF that supports the decarbonization of the aviation industry, said Mihir Dange, CEO of XCF Global.

This achievement marks the beginning of XCF Global’s commercial ramp-up as the company accelerates SAF production to meet the growing demand for clean energy solutions.

With New Rise Renewables Reno reaching commercial production, XCF Global is advancing its goal of becoming a leader in the decarbonization of the aviation industry.
