In Sweden, biomass- and recycling technology supplier Mared SustainTech AB (Mared) has announced that it has been awarded a new assignment by Belgian biomass combustion specialists Vyncke BV as part of the latter's recently announced Norrenergi boiler replacement contract.
Mared is responsible for the entire fuel-handling process, which includes receiving wood pellets, pellet grinding, and delivering high-quality wood powder to the boiler.
The contract, the value of which has not been disclosed, is the second largest in Mared SustainTech’s history and is regarded as a strategically important green investment.
We selected Mared early on in the project as a key partner thanks to their proven track record, especially at Norrenergi. I can confidently say that Vyncke will look to Mared in the future due to the professionalism and collaborative approach they demonstrated already in the tendering phase, said Matthias Steenhaut, Project Sales Manager at Vyncke.
It also represents the second delivery to Norrenergi by Mared, further strengthening the established collaboration.
The Norrenegi project also reinforces Mared’s continued development in the bioenergy sector.
We design and deliver customised solutions that accelerate the green transition. We do it from Huskvarna, with international reach. In this project, we have had an excellent collaboration with Vyncke, which has been an important factor in shaping the overall solution. For our employees, it means working on projects that push our customers’ operations forward while contributing to a more sustainable future, commented Thomas Magnusson, COO at Mared SustainTech.
