Ahead of the upcoming IFAT 2026 trade show in Munich, Germany, Tietjen Verfahrenstechnik GmbH (Tietjen) has announced the launch of its new BioRefiner BRF for the fine processing of pre-separated organic material.
According to the company, the new BioRefiner BRF has been specially developed for the fine processing of pre-separated organic material following the Tietjen depackaging machine DRM and redefines efficiency and purity in organic waste and food waste processing.
Even with heavily contaminated material streams and a high proportion of packaging, the system consistently delivers clean results – whilst minimising the loss of valuable organic material.
With a purity of up to 99.9 percent, depending on the substrate, the BioRefiner BRF reliably meets the requirements of demanding biowaste ordinances such as the German one and offers operators significantly greater flexibility in processing a wide variety of input materials.
Even difficult input streams are processed with precision, ensuring the highest levels of purity are achieved. At the same time, organic losses are reduced to a minimum, under 5 percent – a decisive economic advantage for operators of biowaste and biogas plants.
Reliability in continuous operation
Designed for demanding fine separation, the BioRefiner BRF is optimally engineered for fully automatic 24/7 operation.
Based on proven technology and successfully implemented in a variety of industries, the machine integrates seamlessly with existing plant concepts, and it is specifically tailored for use in combination with Tietjen’s depackaging machine DRM.
