Denmark-headed biomass energy and pyrolysis technology company, Dall Energy ApS has announced that following the acquisition of Weiss Energie France (Weiss) and Biomasse Services ét Maintenance (BSM) from Groupe Roullier in October 2024, Dall Group has now been formed. The new group consists of Weiss, BSM as well as Dall Energy.
The Dall Group has been formed to connect the many businesses under one Dall-moniker, with a Dall Energy branch and a W&B branch.
In addition, as of January 31, 2025, Dall Energy’s founder and CEO, Jens Dall Bentzen, is the new Dall Group CEO, while former Dall Energy COO, Torben Høberg has been appointed to lead Dall Energy as the new Managing Director.
I am honored by the opportunity to head up Dall Energy as Managing Director, and I look forward to leading the day-to-day operations and the strategic development of the company. This includes engaging even more with our clients and partners, as we continue to expand and grow, said Torben Høberg.
Dall Group Chairman appointed
Following Dall Energy’s acquisitions of Weiss and BSM in 2024, the company appointed Carsten Riisberg Lund as its new Chairman of the Board of Dall Energy, after serving as a Board Member since 2020 to oversee the consolidation of the new organization and helped ensure its continued growth and internationalization.
Together with founder Jens Dall Bentzen, the French private equity, Eiffel Essentiel, and the rest of the ownership, Carsten Riisberg Lund spearheaded the consolidation of the new corporate structure and helped ensure the ongoing growth of Dall Energy and the international expansion of its biomass technology-business.
I have long been part of Dall Energy’s journey to become a leading European energy technology company. I look forward to helping steer the ship, and I am convinced that the demand for Dall Energy’s technology to drive the industrial green energy transition will fuel our growth, Carsten Riisberg Lund said.
Carsten Riisberg Lund is now Chairman of the Board for Dall Group.
A better division of responsibilities means better business
As the group grows, the organization becomes increasingly complex. Thus, the formation of the Dall Group provides a clear division of management responsibilities – and makes for a better business, overall.
For Dall Group CEO, Jens Bentzen, this means that he can now focus on product and technology innovation as well as strategic business development, including an upcoming pyrolysis unit.
To keep the momentum going and to develop as a business, it is vital to have Managing Directors solely dedicated to leading each branch. Even if that means letting go of the day-to-day management, the group CEO function allows me to focus on taking the entire group to the next level, ended Jens Bentzen.
