Lithuania-headed combustion technology developers, manufacturers and suppliers UAB Enerstenos grupė, previously known as Enerstena, has announced it has acquired Finland-based biomass boiler company Nakkila Boilers Oy, a company specialised in the implementation of biomass plant projects in the 1 to 10 MW thermal output range.
– The acquisition of Nakkila Boilers Oy is a step in our aim to export our products to foreign countries. Bioenergy is very important in the Nordic market and is why we see big potential to promote our products in this region, said Virginijus Ramanauskas, CEO of UAB Enerstenos grupė in a statement.
Nakkila Boilers completed its first biomass plant project in 1996 and has over 50 reference installations in Finland, Norway and Sweden. Nakkila Boilers will continue to sell its range of boiler solutions, which will be manufactured by UAB “Enerstenos grupė“.
