The organisers of the 28th European Biomass Conference and Exhibition (EUBCE), ETA-Florence Renewable Energies and WIP Munich, have announced that EUBCE 2020, originally slated to take place in Marseille, France at the end of April, has been rescheduled to take place at the same venue on July 6 to 9, 2020 instead.

The EUBCE is a key fixture in the global biomass calendar, bringing together hundreds of scientist leaders, companies, innovators and stakeholders. Over the past 30 years this event has been recognized as the biomass hub in Europe. The 2020 edition is to be held in Marseille, France.
According to a statement, the Executive Committee of the EUBCE is monitoring the current coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak with the “closest attention and is deeply concerned about the potential impacts on the conference participants. Ensuring that each and every person involved with the conference remains safe during the annual EUBCE event is our highest priority.”
Rescheduling EUBCE (to July 6-9, 2020) will enable us to ensure an optimal and rewarding experience for everyone involved, most importantly while minimizing personal risk to health. The venue, programme, agenda and high-level speaker line-up remain essentially the same, promising networking, idea sharing, and business creation opportunities as always. Everyone’s registration will automatically be transferred to the new dates without any administrative burden upon you. We are available to answer any questions you may have concerning the changes. We would like to thank all people involved within EUBCE – speakers, delegates, sponsors, suppliers, exhibitors and partners – for their support in this difficult period. We will continue to monitor the unique situation as it evolves, and we will update our attendees, exhibitors and partners of significant changes in a timely manner as they arise, the statement said.
