In June 2020, VIDA signed an agreement with Bergs Timber to acquire its sawmill operations in Vimmerby, Mörlunda, and Orrefors, as well as the closed Gransjö facility. The current combined production of the three operational sawmills is around 400 000 m3 per annum.

VIDA plans to invest in these sawmills and increase annual production to 500 000 m3.
