The French forestry magazine Bois International, together with a large committee, chose the Logset hybrid harvester as its “Forest Machine of the Year”. According to a statement, the decision was based on innovativeness and environmental aspects, such as fuel efficiency and reduced emissions. The prize was received by Area Sales Manager Marc Mimeau and Chairman of the Board Tapio Nikkanen.

A few years back, Logset decided to become the leader in environmentally friendly and efficient forest machines. The decision became the cornerstone of the company’s strategy. We’ve determinedly developed new solutions and have already launched two hybrid harvester models. The Forest Machine of the Year prize is a fine way of saying thank you to everyone at Logset, and encourages us to keep developing new products in line with our strategy, said Tapio Nikkanen, Chairman of the Board of Logset.

The Logset 8H GTE Hybrid harvester was launched in May 2019 in Finland and is the second Logset harvester model to use a hybrid powertrain since the introduction in 2016.
