Strategic logistical service contracts

Geminor has delivered logistical services for these companies since 2014, and Kjetil Hausken, Country Manager for Geminor in Norway is very pleased with the extended contracts.

We are very pleased to renew the partnerships with these three major inter-municipal companies. Long-term contracts like this have strategic value to us because they secure and stabilize our portfolio in Norway. The contracts mainly involve sorted household waste, which works well for energy recovery and the production of heat and electricity. In addition, these contracts secure return transport for our logistics partners. Borregaard’s plant in the town of Sarpsborg is an important recipient for this waste – but we will also distribute the volumes to other off-takers in both Norway and Sweden, explained Kjetil Hausken.
