Canada-headed biogas conditioning systems developer and manufacturer GraniteFuel Inc. (GraniteFuel Engineering), has announced that it is expanding production capabilities in the United States (US) to meet growing customer demand for biogas conditioning equipment.
The new 25 000 sq foot GraniteFuel production facility in Houston, Texas (TX) will produce biogas equipment like dehydration systems, membrane separation, siloxane, and hydrogen sulfide (H2S) removal as well as inventory parts and stock items.
The new facility is located in proximity to affiliate company DCL America, a global leader in the design, manufacture, and implementation of advanced emission control systems for stationary and mobile internal combustion engines (ICEs) which will ensure reduced production time for systems and components.
The addition of the new facility expands and solidifies the DCL Technology Group’s US-based footprint and will enable cross-entity manufacturing synergies, said Brendan Filby, CEO of DCL America.
This expansion is being driven by the growing demand for biomethane (aka renewable natural gas – RNG) production in the United States.
The market in the US for RNG and other biogas conditioning solutions has never been stronger. GraniteFuel is ensuring we can meet our client’s requirements for US-built systems, said Glen Prisciak, Sales Director at GraniteFuel adding that the company has production slots available for clients wishing to take advantage of the 30 percent Inflation Reduction Act (IRA) investment tax credit.
