Returo Entsorgungs GmbH (Returo) is the joint distribution company of two entirely municipal shareholders, acting to ensure the full utilization of the energy from waste (EfW) facilities in Bonn and Leverkusen in Germany. Built in 1992, the Bonn EfW consumes around 260 000 tonnes RDF per annum and delivers steam to the neighbouring cogeneration plant for further conversion into district heating and electricity.

We see in Rekom AS a solid and reliable partner with remarkable experience within the industry. Based on this we are glad to extend the cooperation for the next 3 years, said Andrea Schlüter, Waste Flow Management at Returo.
