ArcAroma and Källby WWTP start evaluation of dynaCEPT technology

In Sweden, Källby wastewater treatment plant (WWTP) and Arc Aroma Pure AB (ArcAroma), have agreed to test ArcAroma´s "dynaCEPT" technology to increase biogas production from sewage sludge and to follow up on other effects of the dynaCEPT process.

The Källby Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP) is situated a couple of km south-west of Lund, Sweden, and treats wastewater from the city of Lund and its surroundings. Construction of the plant was started in 1933, and today over 100 000 residents are connected to the plant (photo courtesy VA Syd).

According to a statement, the test will start at the Källby WWTP in Lund, Sweden, this autumn. Källby is one of several WWTPs operated by VA Syd, the regional wastewater treatment organization for the southwest of Skåne County, Sweden.

In March 2019, ArcAroma initiated a similar test of its dynaCEPT technology at a WWTP in Denmark together with Aarhus Vand A/S.
