Enerstena Group has via its subsidiary Nakkila Boiler Oy signed a contract for the installation of 8 MW biomass heat plant with 2 MW flue gas condenser and condensate treatment system in Keuruu, Finland.

Lithuania-headed Enerstena Group has announced that it has, via its subsidiary Nakkila Boiler Oy, signed a contract for the installation of 8 MW biomass heat plant with 2 MW flue gas condenser and condensate treatment system in Keuruu, Finland.
– The acquisition of Nakkila Boilers Oy in May, and the activities commenced by this company is the consistent outcome of the Group business expansion for entering new foreign markets. We are glad that the Nordic region, which focuses particular attention on biomass, appreciates our experience and products. Seeing high demand for biomass boiler equipment on the Scandinavian market we have intensified our activities assisting the customers in ensuring the best use of heat, said Virginijus Ramanauskas, CEO of Enerstena Group in a statement.
According to the statement, it is the first contract for Nakkila Boiler Oy since the acquisition in May 2016 by Enerstena. The new heat plant is scheduled for completion by December 2017 and will supply 60-70 percent of the heat demand for Keuruu, a town with a population of around 10 000 inhabitants.
Nakkila Boilers Oy is specialised on the design and installation of biomass boiler plants in the 1 to 10 MWth capacity range. Since 1996, the company has completed over 50 boiler plant projects in Finland, Sweden and Norway. Since the acquisition Nakkila Boilers staff are dealing with active sales to the Scandinavian market of boiler equipment manufactured by Enerstena Group.
